Alli is the Founder and Director of Prosper Project. She sees people as the most valuable resource on earth which is why she believes financial systems should be based on human value, not exploitation. In light of that, Alli founded Prosper Project as a way to educate young adults on what tools they have that support human value in an uncertain financial landscape.
Alli grew up in rural Mississippi and has a degree in History from Belhaven University. She has lived abroad in Asia, traveled extensively, and engaged with thousands of people from across the global economic spectrum. Her extensive interactions and real life experiences give her a unique approach in how to navigate a shifting global economy.

Common Questions About Prosper Project
How does Prosper Project help individuals?
Prosper Project offers a wide range of educational resources, including podcasts, videos, written materials, and in-person events. Our goal is to empower individuals to recognize their value, how that value is (and isn’t) represented in economic systems, and what they can do about it.
Does your material cost anything?
NO — we are a completely NON-PROFIT educational initiative. WE DO NOT SELL BITCOIN OR ANY TYPE OF PRODUCTS.
Why are you doing this for free?
Our Founder and Director, Alli Shaw, experienced significant loss as a child because of monetary system mismanagement. In the 1980s, her family (and many other small farmers) lost their entire farm because of exorbitant interest rates on loans. But it took decades for Alli and her family to understand what had happened. Once she understood the gravity of system structures and the human cost associated with them, she realized that the more people understood what was happening, the more they can protect themselves. So she launched Prosper Project to help people understand what is happening economically and how Bitcoin can help protect individual worth and financial freedom in the digital age.
